
April 11, New Delhi – India’s Minister of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh, met senior leaders of Myanmar's new government in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.
During the visit, the Minister of State met with Myanmar's Vice Presidents, U Nyo Saw and Daw Nan Ni Ni Aye, as well as Foreign Minister U Tin Maung Swe. He emphasized the close, long-standing relationship between India and Myanmar, noting their shared land and maritime borders.
The Minister also reaffirmed India's commitment to strengthening multifaceted bilateral cooperation with Myanmar.
