State Minister for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh, met with representatives of Myanmar's new government in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday, including Vice Presidents U Nyo Saw and Daw Nan Ni Ni Aye, and Foreign Minister U Tin Maung Swe. In a social media post, he stated that India is committed to further strengthening its multifaceted bilateral cooperation with Myanmar. He noted that India and Myanmar are close partners with long-standing ties, as well as being land and maritime neighbors.
