February 19, New Delhi – Heads of State continue to arrive in New Delhi for the India-AI Impact Summit.

The President of Switzerland, Guy Parmelin, arrived in the city this morning.

The visit is expected to further strengthen the India-Switzerland partnership across various sectors of mutual interest.

Ahead of his visit, the Swiss President expressed strong support for India's efforts to democratize AI, endorsing the broader goal of ensuring that the transformative potential of AI benefits every nation and community.

He emphasized that international cooperation is essential to building a fair and inclusive AI ecosystem.

Official Spokesperson, Ministry of External Affairs, Randhir Jaiswal, shared a post on X and wrote: "Welcome to President Guy Parmelin of the Swiss Confederation, as he arrives in New Delhi to attend the India-AI Impact Summit.

He was warmly received by Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare and for Chemicals & Fertilizers, @AnupriyaSPatel, at the airport.

The visit will further deepen India and Switzerland partnership across various sectors of mutual interest."
