Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a series of bilateral meetings with world leaders yesterday on the sidelines of the ongoing India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi. The Prime Minister met with French President Emmanuel Macron, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Netherlands Prime Minister Dick Schoof, President of Switzerland Guy Parmelin, and his counterpart from the Hellenic Republic, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Prime Minister Modi expressed satisfaction with the progress made in various fields. Recalling the historical ties that underpin India-UAE relations, they also discussed ways to enhance cooperation in Artificial Intelligence. Both sides welcomed several initiatives that set the stage for enhancing bilateral cooperation in traditional and new areas.

With his Dutch counterpart, Prime Minister Modi exchanged views on harnessing AI as an enabler for economic and social transformation. Noting the conclusion of India-EU FTA negotiations, they reiterated their commitment to its early implementation. They also committed to strengthening the global fight against terrorism.

Prime Minister Modi and President of Switzerland, Guy Parmelin, discussed strengthening collaboration in the economic sphere, including trade, investment, and technology, as well as future-ready partnerships in AI innovation.

Prime Minister Modi and his Greek counterpart, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, reviewed various aspects of the India-Greece strategic partnership, particularly in the fields of trade and commerce, defense and security, and collaboration in AI and other emerging technologies. Mr. Modi also thanked Mr. Mitsotakis for his strong support to India in its fight against terrorism.
