
The 16th edition of the joint special forces exercise, VAJRA PRAHAR, between India and the United States, began today in Himachal Pradesh. It will continue until the 16th of next month. In a statement, the Defence Ministry highlighted that the exercise is being held at the Special Forces Training School in Bakloh, Himachal Pradesh. The Indian Army is represented by 45 personnel from its Special Forces units, while the United States has fielded 12 personnel from the US Special Forces' Green Berets.
The exercise aims to enhance military cooperation between India and the United States by improving interoperability, joint operations, and the exchange of special operations tactics.
