March 04, New Delhi - The Meteorological Department has issued a new weather forecast for various parts of the country. According to the department, light rain is expected in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh today.
Dense fog is likely in some areas of Sikkim this morning, which may affect visibility.
The department also stated that hot and humid weather will persist in the Konkan and Gujarat coastal regions. Furthermore, maximum temperatures are forecast to rise by around 2 degrees Celsius in the Western Himalayan region over the next two days.
