March 13, New Delhi – The Indian women's hockey team will aim to maintain their strong performance in the FIH Hockey World Cup Qualifiers when they face Italy in the semifinals today.
India finished first in Group B with seven points, securing two wins and one draw in the group stage.
The team will look to build on the impressive form of forward Navneet Kaur, who is currently the top scorer of the tournament with four goals.

India has already qualified for the World Cup through the tournament rules, which award a World Cup spot to the highest-ranked team that finishes fourth across the two qualifying events.
