The Army Goodwill School, Gagrian (Sawjian), which is operated by the Indian Army (25 RR), has organized a Student Integration Tour (SIT) from March 23 to March 28, 2026, for its students.
The tour was officially launched today at ALG Ground, Poonch, by the Commander of the 93rd Infantry Brigade and his wife. This six-day tour will cover various historical and important locations across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, including Poonch, Rajouri, Jammu, and Srinagar, before returning to Poonch.
This is the first opportunity for students of Army Goodwill School, Sawjian—a remote area in the Poonch district—to participate in such an educational tour. The students expressed their sincere gratitude to the Indian Army for providing them with this valuable exposure. Teachers are also accompanying the students during the tour.
This initiative is of great importance for children from remote areas, as it broadens their horizons and provides them with educational and cultural exposure beyond their immediate surroundings.
