The Indian Army organized a Defence Porter Recruitment Rally in Sawjiyan, Poonch, under the auspices of the 25th Rashtriya Rifles and the Poonch Brigade, to provide employment opportunities for local youth.
A large number of educated and unemployed youths from different parts of the district participated in the rally. Approximately 2,000 to 2,500 candidates gathered at the venue and participated in the race and other recruitment procedures as part of the selection process.
Participants praised the initiative, stating that such recruitment drives provide valuable employment opportunities for local youth and also allow them to contribute towards supporting the Indian Army. Locals also thanked the Army for organizing the recruitment rally in the border district.
