
March 14, New Delhi: Rajesh Kumar Sinha, Special Secretary at the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, stated that two Indian ships have crossed the Strait of Hormuz and are now en route to ports in India.
He added that some ships intended for India have been able to navigate through the strait. The two ships – Shivalik and Nanda Devi – have crossed the Strait of Hormuz and are currently sailing towards Indian ports.
Each vessel is carrying over 46,000 metric tons of LPG, for a total cargo of approximately 92,700 metric tons. He further mentioned that several Indian ships remain on standby in the Gulf region.
