The Ministry of Civil Aviation is closely tracking the evolving situation in West Asia, which is affecting air travel between India and the West Asian region. Airlines are making necessary operational adjustments to ensure passenger safety and the smooth operation of flights, given the current circumstances. In a statement, the Ministry said that, as of now, Indian carriers are planning to operate 50 flights today. Yesterday, Indian carriers operated 49 inbound flights from airports in the region, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Muscat, and Jeddah.

On Saturday, a total of 51 inbound flights operated by Indian carriers arrived in India from the region, carrying 8,175 passengers. The Ministry stated that it is in constant coordination with airlines and other stakeholders, and that airfares are also being closely monitored to ensure that ticket prices remain reasonable. Passengers are advised to stay in touch with their respective airlines for the latest updates regarding flight schedules. The Ministry will continue to closely monitor the situation and issue further updates as necessary.
