March 15, New Delhi: The Election Commission of India has announced the schedule for the upcoming state assembly elections in Assam, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal.
According to the schedule, polling in Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry will take place on April 9, 2026. Voting in Tamil Nadu will occur on April 23, 2026. West Bengal will hold its elections in two phases on April 23 and April 29, 2026. The counting of votes for all five states will be conducted on May 4, 2026.
