India's 'Bridges of Friendship' Ship Arrives in Sri Lanka.webp

February 27, New Delhi - The Indian Navy's Sail Training Ship, INS Tarangini, arrived in Trincomalee on Friday as part of India's maritime outreach initiative, "Bridges of Friendship," aimed at strengthening naval cooperation with Sri Lanka.

The vessel is on its return journey from Visakhapatnam after participating in the International Fleet Review.

INS Tarangini, the first sail training ship of the Indian Navy, is renowned for its global circumnavigation in 2004 and its role in promoting India's maritime heritage and naval diplomacy.
