April 03, New Delhi – Victora Tools Chairman S.S. Banga highlighted the recent measures taken by the Indian government to support exporters in the face of global conflicts.

Speaking about the challenges faced by exporters, Banga noted that 20-25 countries around the world are currently in conflict zones. "Given that situation, the Indian government has provided relief to exporters. This is a simple step, applying to special economic zones (SEZs) in the local market, with a 20% value addition. This is a significant measure because it covers the entire export zone," he said.

Banga also mentioned that loans provided to exporters came with government guarantees, which were repaid over five years. "Currently, there are no defaults, and companies are financially secure. This kind of support strengthens logistics and ensures the safety of our exports," he added.
