New Delhi, March 17 Audi expects the luxury car market in India to grow by around 5-7% in 2026, despite challenges in the entry-level segment due to rising prices, according to a senior company official.
The company, which launched its luxury SUV SQ8 at a price of Rs 1.78 crore, aims to expand its presence in the Rs 75 lakh and above segment. The company is focusing on "right-priced, right-sized models" to increase the penetration of electric vehicles in the entry luxury segment.
The luxury car segment in India remains relatively small, with annual sales estimated at around 50,000 units.
