
March 02, New Delhi – In light of the current situation in the region, India's Ministry of External Affairs has issued multiple advisories to its citizens residing in West Asia.
Indian nationals in Oman are requested to remain vigilant and follow the safety and emergency procedures advised by local authorities. For any queries, Indian nationals in Oman may contact the Embassy at the toll-free number 80071234 or on WhatsApp at 98282270.
An advisory has also been issued for Indians residing in Qatar. The Embassy’s 24x7 helpline number is 00974-55647502 and the email for addressing any query is [email protected].
In view of the current regional situation, all Indian nationals are requested to follow emergency alerts sent by local authorities and have been urged to stay away from the vicinity of military sites.
For the United Arab Emirates, all Indian nationals are advised to avoid unnecessary travel, take necessary precautions, remain vigilant, and follow safety guidelines and advisories as and when issued by the UAE authorities and the Embassy. The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai are continuing to function normally and will issue updates as necessary.
