The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), an autonomous body under the Union Health Ministry, has today achieved a historic milestone by being officially recognized by Guinness World Records for having the most viewers of a live stream on YouTube featuring an Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare lesson. The Union Health Ministry stated that this record was achieved through the successful implementation of a nationwide online training program on Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare. The program was specifically designed for registered medical practitioners across the country.

Dr. Abhijat Sheth, the President of NBEMS, said that this recognition from Guinness World Records is not just a record, but a testament to India's leadership in adopting digital innovation in medical education. He added that NBEMS remains committed to advancing competency-based learning and will continue to introduce initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of healthcare delivery across the nation.
