
Today, the Ministry of Home Affairs unveiled India's new national counter-terrorism policy and strategy, titled "PRAHAR." This strategy outlines a comprehensive framework to address evolving terrorist threats using a proactive approach to prevent and counter such threats. In a statement, the Ministry said that while the nature of threats continues to evolve and present new challenges, the country remains consistent in its opposition to terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. It stated that India has always stood by the victims of terrorism and has been steadfast in its belief that violence has no justification in the world. The Ministry noted that this principled approach informs India's policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism.
