April 9, New Delhi: India added three more medals at the 2026 Asian Wrestling Championships in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
Nitesh won a silver medal in the 97kg Greco-Roman category after losing to defending champion Mohammadhadi Saravi in the final. In the 67kg category, Sachin Sahrawat secured a bronze medal with a narrow 6-5 win over Uzbekistan's Abdumalik Aminov.
Prince also claimed bronze in the 82kg category with a dominant 10-1 victory over Turkmenistan's Didar Amannazarov.
With these results, India's total medal count reached five, including two silver and three bronze medals.
