Bhubaneswar, March 2 The Indigo flight from Bhubaneswar to Dubai was cancelled on Monday due to the escalating tensions in West Asia, an airport official said.
Director Prasanna Pradhan of Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) said that the Indigo flight to Dubai on Monday was cancelled by the airline, and passengers were informed in advance.
Indigo operates the Bhubaneswar to Dubai flight three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Approximately 120 passengers were booked for the Monday flight.
"While the Friday flight was normal, the airline announced the cancellation of the Monday flight to Dubai on Sunday. No decision has yet been made regarding the Wednesday flight to Dubai," Pradhan said.
