Nagpur, March 1 At least 17 people were killed and 18 others were injured in an explosion at an explosives manufacturing factory in Nagpur district, Maharashtra, on Sunday morning, police said.
The explosion occurred at the SBL Energy Limited factory, a manufacturer of mining and industrial explosives, in Raulgaon, Katol tehsil, a senior police official said.
At least 17 people were killed and 18 others were injured, the police said.
A team from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) reached the site to carry out rescue operations.
