Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, March 4 The US-Israeli war on Iran has begun, and its negative impact is being felt in Maharashtra's industrial units due to disruptions in the global supply chain. An industry organization here stated that containers intended to transport automobile components to Europe are facing delays.

The United States and Israel launched a major attack on Iran on February 28. US President Donald Trump called on the Iranian people to seize control of their destiny and rise up against the Islamic leadership that has ruled the country since 1979.

The Marathwada Exporters' Forum of the Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) says that there are approximately one thousand small, medium, and large units in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar that directly or indirectly export their products.

However, the ongoing US-Iran war has disrupted supply lines and extended the time it takes for goods to reach their destinations, causing difficulties for businesses in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, according to a representative of the organization.

Several units involved in the manufacturing of automobile parts, medicines, steel, and machine components are located in Waluj, Chikalthana, Shendra, and other industrial hubs in the district. These products are exported to various countries.
