New Delhi, March 30 The government is in discussions with high-tech industry associations regarding the conflict in West Asia and its impact on the ecosystem, and industry bodies have not reported any negative effects on their operations, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Monday.
The comments came in the wake of reports that the helium shortage is starting to impact global tech supply chains.
"We have spoken to every industry association here, and each one has confirmed that there has been no impact so far... This includes semiconductors, mobile devices, electronic components, and the hardware sector... It is a developing situation. Therefore, we will continue to engage with the industry," Vaishnaw told reporters.
The industry believes that the West Asia crisis will not be prolonged, he said.
