
Science and Technology Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh emphasized that building a strong green economy is essential for ensuring long-term environmental stability and sustainable growth. Speaking at the 10th Sustainable Business Future Summit in New Delhi today, Dr. Singh highlighted that the country's transition towards green infrastructure must be seamless and driven by energy-based innovations. He noted that emerging technologies in clean energy, sustainable urban planning, and smart resource management are playing a crucial role in transforming the nation's infrastructure while reducing the carbon footprint. He also pointed out that the world is witnessing a major shift in its economic structure, moving beyond conventional manufacturing towards regenerative, recycling, and sustainable processes. The Minister stated that India must align itself with global strategies, priorities, and benchmarks to remain competitive and relevant.
