London, March 14 An Indian-origin cinema owner who has turned jeweler plans a significant expansion in the UK market, with the intention of using London as a launchpad into the European market.

Anil Dhanak, the founder of Kanz Jewels, which houses the world's largest gold ring, "Najmat Taiba," in a Dubai souk, has decided to launch the next phase of his business expansion by establishing high-end boutiques across the UK, and then in other parts of Europe in the coming months, drawing inspiration from his cinematic hero, Amitabh Bachchan.

The luxury jewelry brand, headquartered in Dubai, "Najmat Taiba," holds the "Guinness World Record" for being the largest and heaviest gold ring, weighing approximately 64 kilograms.

"Our goal is to bring the elegance and heritage of Kanz Jewels to a global audience. Just like great cinema, true craftsmanship stands the test of time," said Dhanak.

Dhanak recently presented a specially commissioned canvas depicting Bachchan's iconic "angry young man" look from the 1975 Bollywood classic "Deewaar," bringing his life's journey full circle from when he screened the film at his small theatre in Bagasara, Gujarat.

"To go from screening his films in a small-town theatre to sitting with him at his home decades later is something I never imagined," said Dhanak. "Life sometimes creates moments that feel like miracles, and almost cinematic. It marks an important milestone for me as we plan the next phase for Kanz Jewels," he said.

The "Deewaar" canvas, now signed by Big B, has been added to his collection as the "most precious jewel."

"In my business, we deal with some of the most precious jewels in the world. But inspirational moments like this are priceless," he added.
