Jaipur, March 20 A senior official from a private insurance company was found dead by hanging in Jaipur, police said. The official, reportedly, had taken his own life.
A suicide note was found in his room, in which he stated that he was tired of his professional life and was taking this extreme step willingly, according to police.
The incident occurred in the Chitrakoot area, where 45-year-old Ajay Arora was found hanging in his rented accommodation on Thursday evening. He was a resident of Udaipur. Arora had come to Jaipur last year, while his family still lives in Udaipur, police said.
The incident came to light on Thursday evening when a neighbour went to his place for some work. The body was taken to the mortuary of a hospital for post-mortem, police said.
An investigation into the matter is underway, they said.
