New Delhi, March 10 IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers has tendered his resignation on Tuesday, three months after the country's largest airline faced significant operational disruptions.
In the interim, the airline's Managing Director Rahul Bhatia will assume management until the company announces the appointment of a new leader, which is expected soon, a statement said on Tuesday.
"Rahul will return to manage the airline to strengthen the company's culture, reinforce operational excellence, and deepen its commitment to providing exceptional service of care, reliability, and professionalism to its customers," said Vikram Singh Mehta, Chairman of InterGlobe Aviation.
InterGlobe Aviation operates the airline under the brand name IndiGo.
