
The Dibrugarh University International Literary Festival has commenced.
The four-day Dibrugarh University International Literary Festival 2026 began on Wednesday at the university campus.
The festival brought together over 150 writers, poets, researchers, journalists, publishers, filmmakers, and intellectuals from India and abroad. The event will conclude on February 21st.
Organized by the university in collaboration with the Forum for Culture, Arts and Literature (FOCAL), the central theme of the festival is "Writings from the Middle East and North Africa." Renowned writer Yeshe Dorjee Thongchi attended the inaugural session as the chief guest. The festival features over 70 sessions and workshops.
