The Ministry of Railways celebrated International Women's Day in New Delhi today. The event brought together female employees to recognize and celebrate the achievements of women, and to promote gender equality. The Ministry of Railways stated that the event reinforced its commitment to gender equality, with the participation of female officials. The event also included various engaging activities, such as a skit, a health talk, a yoga demonstration, dance and song performances, a quiz, and other fun games.

Recognizing women's excellence in various fields, merit certificates and cash awards were presented to the winners of the essay and pot decoration competitions, as well as to the best sportswomen and best cultural artists. Present at the event were Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Railway Board, Satish Kumar, and Member (Finance), Railway Board, Manjusha.
