Jalna, April 6 The eruption of a black-coloured substance from the ground caused panic among locals in the Samanagaon Road area of Jalna city on Monday, prompting officials to investigate possible causes.
According to preliminary information, a flammable material was seen spewing out from the ground at the site.
Officials suspect that a short circuit or another technical issue in an electric pole near the site may be responsible for the incident.
Local residents rushed to the scene after noticing the unusual activity.
