Jaipur, April 10 A boy and a girl are alleged to have committed suicide near the Surer Goth railway station on the Rajgarh-Bandikui rail route in Alwar district, Rajasthan, on Friday, according to police.
The bodies were found on the railway track, after which personnel from the Government Railway Police (GRP) rushed to the scene.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Narendra Kumar said that the bodies were taken to the Rajgarh hospital mortuary with the help of a municipal team and were later handed over to the families after a post-mortem examination.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the case may be linked to a love affair, according to police, adding that both minors studied in the same school.
The boy had recently completed Class 12, while the girl had recently enrolled in the same class, officials said. Further investigation is underway.
