New Delhi, March 27 – The 19th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to begin on March 28, with the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), facing off against the 2016 champions, Sunrisers Hyderabad, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The tournament will run from March 28 to May 31. Most matches will take place in the evenings, starting at 7:30 PM IST, with the toss at 7:00 PM IST. Afternoon matches on double-header days will begin at 3:30 PM IST. There will be a total of 12 days, with double-header matches.
