March 30, New Delhi – Iran has confirmed the death of Revolutionary Guards Navy Commander Alireza Tangsiri following severe injuries.
Israel’s Defence Minister, Israel Katz, stated that in a precise and lethal operation, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) eliminated the commander of the IRGC Navy, Tangsiri, along with senior naval command officials.
Tangsiri, who had held the position since 2018, played a significant role in Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
