
Chandigarh, March 1 Rice exporters in Haryana are facing payment delays and disruptions to shipments headed to Iran and Afghanistan following the US and Israeli military strikes on Iran.
"Some impact of the conflict on trade has already started," said Sushil Kumar Jain, the state unit president of the Rice Exporters Association, on Sunday.
Shipments that were destined for Iran or even Afghanistan via Iran's largest port, Bandar Abbas, have been delayed. "These shipments will remain stuck until the situation improves, and this will impact the market. Payments may also be delayed," Jain told
