Iran-Linked Drones Cause Fire at Kuwait Airport.webp

April 1, New Delhi: Kuwait's civil aviation authority reported that the country's international airport was the target of a drone attack from Iran early in the morning, resulting in "a large fire" at fuel storage tanks.

Authorities described the attack as part of a series of "brazen attacks by drones from Iran and the armed factions it supports" targeting the airport. A spokesperson for the General Authority of Civil Aviation said, "The fuel storage tanks were targeted, resulting in a large fire at the site." He confirmed that no casualties were reported from the incident.

The attack comes amid rising tensions in the region, with drones and missile strikes increasingly used to target critical infrastructure.
