April 5, New Delhi: Jerusalem witnessed multiple interceptor missiles lighting up the evening sky on Saturday, followed by several loud explosions, as Iran launched another round of missile attacks.
Air raid sirens were sounded across Jerusalem and central Israel during what officials described as the seventh wave of Iranian missile strikes targeting the city on that day.
According to Israeli authorities, there were no casualties in the latest attack. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said that one of the missiles landed in an open area, while the rest were successfully intercepted by the country’s air defence system.
The repeated attacks have further escalated tensions in the region, even as Israel’s defence systems continue to respond to incoming threats.
