April 9, New Delhi – A day after Israel struck Lebanon, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Thursday that Israel would continue to target Hezbollah, backed by Iran, "wherever necessary."
In a post on the social media site X, Netanyahu clearly stated that "anyone who acts against Israeli civilians – we will strike them."
He added that overnight, the IDF targeted a series of terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon, including crossings used to transfer thousands of weapons, rockets, and launchers, as well as weapons depots, launchers, and Hezbollah headquarters.
Earlier, the Israeli Prime Minister said during a press conference that enriched uranium would be removed from Iran either through agreement or by force. He said that Israel still had more goals to achieve, warning that it was ready to resume fighting at any moment.
