'It's Your Wish': Director's Emotional Message to Nani on Birthday.webp

Hyderabad, February 24 – Srikanth Odela, who is directing the Nani-starrer 'The Paradise', has penned an emotional post of gratitude to his film's lead actor Nani on the occasion of his birthday.

Taking to his X timeline to write the post of gratitude, Srikanth Odela said, "Whenever I say, 'It's your wish, Srikanth', I hear 'I trust you, Srikanth' (Every time you say, 'It is your wish, Srikanth', I hear 'I trust you, Srikanth'). And that trust scares me, to give everything I have to 'The Paradise'."

The director then went on to admit, "I broke every rule of filmmaking. I disrupted your working pattern. I ignored your release date. I changed your working style. I almost broke every rule of filmmaking. Each time I did that, you supported me, Srikanth. You supported me in a way that everything I have today is because of you. Nobody else has trusted me like you have."

Odela then went on to list how Nani had extended his cooperation for the film. He wrote, "I asked you to wear braids... you said "ok, it's your wish". I asked you to get a tattoo on your hand... you said "ok, it's your wish". I made you do countless retakes every day... you simply said - "ok, it's your wish". I never said this directly, but now I should confess, Srikanth. I spend every second of my life trying to understand why you always say "it's your wish". And maybe, subconsciously, I will find my answer with 'The Paradise'."

"To Dharani, who trusted me, and to Jadal, who still trusts me... Happy Birthday, Srikanth," he wrote.

For the unaware, the film has generated huge expectations among fans and film buffs for several reasons.

Srikanth Odela made his directorial debut with 'Dasara', which featured Nani in the lead. The film garnered critical acclaim and became a box office success, crossing the ₹100 crore mark. Now, Odela and Nani have teamed up again for 'The Paradise'.

Well-known Bollywood actor Raghav Juyal is also a part of 'The Paradise'. It may be recalled that the makers of the film had welcomed actor Raghav Juyal to the film's unit last year. Also, actor Raghav Juyal, who is basking in the success of 'Bads of Bollywood', has already announced that he will be changing his look for the film.

The film is to release on August 21 this year in eight languages namely Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, English, Spanish, Bengali, Kannada, and Malayalam.
