JAMMU, FEBRUARY 16: Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo chaired a high-level meeting to review a comprehensive Youth Engagement Drive by the School Education and Culture Departments, aimed at engaging over 80,000 students annually across Jammu & Kashmir.

The initiative includes establishing School Cultural Clubs in 2,530 schools, Tehsil and District Cultural Committees, and the “One District–One Traditional Art Form” programme to revive 27 district-specific arts through a Guru-Shishya model.

Other key features include 200 Nukkad Nataks addressing social issues, two annual Youth Cultural Summits, a two-year Diploma in Calligraphy with the University of Kashmir, and the School Education programme “Display Your Talent,” covering over 24,000 schools with structured, age-based activities in academics, sports, arts, and leadership.

An inclusive framework ensures the participation of children with special needs, promoting creativity, skill development, and cultural preservation while fostering leadership, civic awareness, and holistic youth development across the Union Territory.
