In Jammu and Kashmir, the Union Territory government has appointed 20 senior officers as District Mentors to strengthen the "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan" (Drug-Free India Campaign). These officers, drawn from various civil services, will oversee awareness campaigns, enforcement measures, and de-addiction efforts in their respective districts. They will also coordinate with local authorities and community groups to enhance outreach and rehabilitation initiatives. This move aims to ensure the effective implementation of the anti-drug campaign across the entire Union Territory.
