J&K: Army Thwarts Infiltration Bid Near Nowshera.webp

In Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Army successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in the general area of Jhangar, within the Nowshera sector of the Rajouri district, today. According to a report by Akashvani Jammu correspondent, the White Knight Corps of the Indian Army, based in Jammu, posted on X, stating that one terrorist has been neutralized. The movement of two terrorists was detected in the general area of Jhangar, Nowshera, along the LoC at approximately 3 PM today. Responding swiftly and strategically, alert army troops engaged the infiltrators, successfully thwarting the attempt. During the engagement, an exchange of fire occurred. In this exchange, one terrorist, allegedly sponsored by Pakistan, was eliminated, effectively preventing any breach of the LoC. The troops have been reoriented to search for the second terrorist and ensure continuous control of the area, supported by integrated ground and aerial surveillance. Further details are pending.
