Srinagar, February 17 Jammu and Kashmir Police apprehended three alleged drug peddlers from the Pattan area of the Baramulla district on Tuesday.
In a post on the official X handle of the Baramulla Police, a spokesperson said that 61 grams of a substance resembling brown sugar, 39 foil pouches, and a weighing machine were recovered from their possession.
He said that a case has been registered at the Pattan police station under Section 8/21-29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
The spokesperson did not mention the value of the seized contraband substance.
