The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain and thunderstorms in scattered areas of Jammu and Kashmir over the next two days. According to the forecast, brief periods of rain are expected today, with a possibility of hailstorms in isolated locations during the afternoon. The weather is expected to remain partly cloudy tomorrow and the day after, with light rain in some areas in the evening.
The department has advised farmers to resume agricultural activities. A gradual increase in maximum temperatures of 4 to 6 degrees Celsius is expected over the next few days. Meanwhile, temperatures across the region remained below normal, with Gulmarg recording sub-zero minimum temperatures.
