In Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has approved three bills passed by the Legislative Assembly. Akashvani Jammu correspondent reports that, according to Manoj Kumar Pandit, Secretary of the J&K Legislative Assembly, who addressed the House, the Jammu and Kashmir Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill, 2026; the Jammu and Kashmir Eliminating Discrimination Against Persons Affected by Leprosy Bill, 2026, and the Jammu and Kashmir State Civil Courts (Amendment) Bill passed by the Legislative Assembly, were approved by the Lieutenant Governor on March 31, 2026.
