Srinagar, March 03: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Shri Manoj Sinha, on Tuesday chaired a high-level security review meeting at Lok Bhavan, Srinagar, to assess the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting was attended by Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GoC-in-C), Northern Command; Nalin Prabhat, Director General of Police, J&K; Prashant Srivastava, GoC 15 Corps; and Balbir Singh, MGGS, Northern Command.
During the discussions, the LG reviewed the overall security situation and discussed measures to strengthen coordination among security agencies to ensure peace and stability across the Union Territory.
Officials briefed the Lieutenant Governor on the current security dynamics and ongoing operations, while reaffirming their commitment to maintaining law and order and safeguarding the lives of citizens.
The high-level meeting underscored the administration's resolve to remain vigilant and proactive in addressing emerging security challenges in the region.
