The Kisan Khidmat Ghar ecosystem of Jammu and Kashmir received widespread acclaim at the AI 4 Agri 2026 Summit, organized by the Government of Maharashtra in Mumbai.
Sandeep Kumar, Mission Director of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme, participated as a panelist and demonstrated how J&K has integrated digital intelligence into a structured public service delivery architecture, rather than treating Artificial Intelligence as a standalone pilot project.
He explained that digital tools are seamlessly integrated with on-the-ground support centers within the Kisan Khidmat Ghar framework to provide real-time advisory, services, and facilitation to farmers. This approach combines technology, skill development, and physical outreach to ensure last-mile connectivity.
Delegates at the summit praised J&K's model for its practical design and scalability, describing it as a balanced combination of innovation and grassroots facilitation. The ecosystem was cited as a replicable framework for promoting inclusive and technology-driven agricultural growth across states.
The recognition at the national-level summit highlights J&K's growing role in leveraging digital solutions to strengthen farmer support systems and modernize agricultural governance.
