
February 24, New Delhi – Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Israel on Wednesday, in a visit that underscores the deep and enduring friendship between the two nations. Ahead of his trip, Prime Minister Modi responded to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's message on social media, highlighting the trust, innovation, and shared commitment to peace and progress that define India-Israel relations.
During his visit, PM Modi will hold bilateral talks with his Israeli counterpart, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Speaking to Doordarshan, India's Ambassador to Israel, J.P. Singh, said that Prime Minister Modi's visit to Israel on February 25th and 26th is historic. He noted that PM Modi first visited Israel in 2017, laying the foundation for the relationship. "Now we have reached a stage where we need to take it forward and start a new phase of our strategic relationship," Singh said.
During the two-day visit, PM Modi will hold detailed discussions with Prime Minister Netanyahu on bilateral, regional, and global issues. He will also meet the President, Isaac Herzog, and address the Knesset, Israel's parliament, on February 25th.
