
New Delhi, April 10 Bollywood star Sunny Deol celebrated the first anniversary of his film "Jaat" on Friday, and said he will soon share updates about the second installment.
The film, directed by Gopichand Malineni, was released on April 10, 2025. Starring Randeep Hooda, the film revolved around a traveler (Deol) seeking an apology from a crime boss (Hooda) in a lawless village in Andhra Pradesh, leading to intense clashes, gritty action, and themes of justice and corruption.
Deol shared a video montage on his Instagram handle, which featured scenes from the film and glimpses of the actors during promotional events.
"One year of 'Jaat's' release… and what a ride it was!
I'm still reminiscing about the madness, the action, and the sheer fun we had while filming this film. Every day on set was filled with energy, passion, and that unmistakable 'Jaat' spirit. It was truly one of the most enjoyable experiences," the actor wrote in the caption.
He also assured his fans and followers that the makers will soon release updates on the second installment of the film, which was announced in 2025.
"A big shoutout to @dongopichand for his vision and for bringing this world to life so powerfully. And @randeephooda and @vineet_ksofficial, wishing you both all the best always. It was a pleasure sharing the screen with you. And… maybe it's time to get back to work.

Deol has a number of upcoming projects, including Rajkumar Santoshi's "Lahore 1947", Nitesh Tiwari's "Ramayana" and "Gabru", and a film directed by Shashank Udapurkar.
His latest work is "Border 2", a war drama, which was released in January. It was a sequel to his 1997 film "Border", and was directed by Anurag Singh.
