
New Delhi, March 19 State-owned NBCC has secured a ₹5,800 crore contract to build the Rajasthan Mandapam project in Jaipur.
In a regulatory filing on Thursday, the company stated that it has secured a contract from the Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation (RIICO) to construct 'Rajasthan Mandapam and allied projects' in Jaipur.
The value of the contract is ₹5,800 crore.
The upcoming project, near Jaipur International Airport, covers more than 90 acres with a total built-up area (BUA) of over 94.53 lakh sq ft.
NBCC, on behalf of RIICO, will construct a convention center, grand expo halls, Global Capability Centers (GCCs) & IT/ITES office spaces, hotels, retail facilities, housing, a natural history museum, riverfront public spaces, Unity Mall, and a fintech plaza.
NBCC stated that it will implement the project through a self-financing model.
The company plans to issue tenders for the project in April.
NBCC is involved in project management consultancy and the real estate business.
