
March 09, New Delhi – External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar delivered a statement in the Upper House of Parliament, the Rajya Sabha, on the evolving situation in West Asia on Monday.
In his address, Jaishankar stated that India has urged Iran, Israel, and the United States to work towards peace and exercise restraint.
He also said that India is concerned about the safety of Indian nationals residing in the conflict-affected region.
The External Affairs Minister added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is monitoring the overall situation and has directed the relevant ministries to continue their efforts.
